The Mighty Community has spoken, and we have heard your Call!

It’s finally time to unveil the winner of the Call Vote, and so, by popular demand, I give you the results of the second Call Vote:

I knew it would win only because everyone wants another Roll. I know most people here are Megaman fans but this is something new. The game will be familiar enough, let the old fade away and the new come in.

For what it's worth, I voted for Call F because I love her outfit, and think she has the coolest looking design, and my decesion was completely independent of Roll (honestly, I do want this game to stand on its own merits rather than ride to coattails of Mega Man). Her hair is similar to Roll's, yes, but her outfit is completely different from Roll's, and that was the part that I liked the most. Honestly, if people were voting against her simply because they thought she "looked too much like Roll", regardless of what they think of her design in and of itself independently, then it sounds like they want something that's different for the sake of being different, without considering if it's actually the better design or not.

But, ya, with all that said, I don't think she looks like Roll. The hair is similar to Roll's, but that's about it. If there's any Mega Man character that she closely resembles, I'd actually say she looks more like Ciel to me than Roll (not that I'd neccessarily say she actually looks like Ciel either, though).

I can't believe how close that was, 2.5%? Well, actually, not really. Even from the Facebook and Kickstarter updates, it was clear that majority of the fans were split between Call F and E. It was anybody's guess at that time. And now, looking forward to that surprise...

I realistically wanted Call's E design to win. I thought it'd be a change, rather than looking at Mighty No. 9 as a MM remake. Since it'd be a spiritual successor, I wanted there to be a different looking support/secondary character in the game who'd idolize and push this concept even further. Can't win them all I suppose, right? It would've been great to see a Call in a cute uniform. *sigh* I hope the E design gets put in the game nontheless though as like, an interchangable skin or something!

Anyways, congrats To Yuuji Natsume on his winning design! This will still be a great design for the game.

I voted for F the entire time, but I find that I've also grown attached to E. It would be awesome if we got a nod to all the fantastic designs when the game eventually comes out.

I have been gunning for F since the initial vote. Glad to see the support from so many other Beckers! Of course the other designs were excellent and I still say alternate costumes that could some how memorialize those ideas would be awesome! I can't wait to see some official Call art and design soon!

Honestly, I don't care about the Calls that lost the vote. I voted for H and was passionate about her for the win since the beginning, but I accpet F as the official call. They should just fade away into obscurity. But, if Comcept does choose to honor all or some it would be cool to be able to unlock them as a complete model and not a costume.
