MIGHTY NO. 9 PLATFORM SURVEY HAS COME TO A CLOSE

Hey Mighties,

First, we want to thank all of our backers who took the time to complete the Platform Survey.
We ended up with a response rate of 83% which is much higher than the previous survey that was sent out.
Taking into account all of the users who just wanted the default PC version and did not need to fill out the survey, we feel like this was a great turnout!
For any backers who contacted our support mail with issues before the deadline passed,
don't worry if you haven't received a response yet. We have a large number of requests and
are working to get through them all.

Going forward, we will analyze the final results, order the relevant product codes from each platform holder,
and work with our partners to get them distributed to all of our backers.

This should all be completed by June 18th. We will of course make an update to let everyone know
when the codes will be going out so please keep your eyes peeled for that important update!
We will also give detailed instructions for how to download the game at that time.
※The Playstation Vita and Nintendo 3DS versions of the game are releasing at a later date, so those codes will go out at that time.

I am sure that all of our backers are more than ready to play the game, right?
Well the Mighty No. 9 staff had one last preparation to do before release, visiting a local
shrine to place some Ema (wooden plaques) to wish for Mighty No. 9 to become a big hit!

We actually visited the same Nanba Shrine that everyone visited when comcept was created, and the name itself even bears a resemblance to the game!

The team all assembled at the shrine on the morning of May 27th.

First, we had the director Imaeda pick up an Ema so he could draw his own as he had not yet made one.

Before hanging up the Ema, we all gathered to do the normal rites to cleanse yourself before entering the main shrine.

Here you can see Inafune, Imaeda, and even MegaXel-chan paying their respects!

Following them KIMOKIMO, TOM-PON, and the rest of the staff also paid their respects and wished for all of our fans to enjoy the game upon release.

After this was the dedication of the Ema. We started with Inafune putting up the one he made himself.

After that KIMIKIMO, Komaki, and Imaeda all dedicated their own as well.

Look at all four of them lined up! What a great sight!

We know it has been a long wait, especially for some of our most dedicated fans, but we are now at the point where we just wait for the release.
We are looking forward to seeing the game in the hands of our backers and all of ours fans around the world.

Until next time Mighties! (`_´)ゞ
-The Mighty No. 9 Team

Actually, after news spread of this we noticed that some of our Japanese users decided to dedicate their own Ema and sent us pictures!

These Ema will be there until the end of 2016, so if you are curious and happen to be nearby feel free to stop by and check them out!

[Bonus Pic]
The day of the event, Komaki could not be present so MegaXel-chan dedicated the Ema in his stead!

The person controlling MegaXel-chan is a little camera-shy...

Comcept's One Problem...

"For any backers who contacted our support mail with issues before the deadline passed,
don't worry if you haven't received a response yet. We have a large number of requests and

I'm sure that'll be a huge relief for a lot of fans. Hoping that the final bumps have been smoothed out.
Once I get my copy of MN9, I might start looking at Red Ash. Personally, I think Comcept has one issue that needs sorted, and if it's taken care of, Comcept will trump many of the big studios.
Mr Inafune is brilliant, but I think he might be a bit too brilliant, and he wants to do everything. That'd be fine if Comcept was bigger, but until he can expand his company's size to fit his ideas... Well, there'll be way too many delays. Comcept isn't as big as capcom is yet and until it is, Mr Inafune has to be careful not to bite off more than he can chew.
At least, that's what I've seen.
Red Ash, Mighty No 9, and ReCore are all in development right now. (Though MN9 is basically done at this point, the point still stands.)
Plus, how many projects has Mr. Inafune helped out with while working on MN9 and other big games?
I really do hope Comcept manages to really explode in size and shake up Japan's gaming market and that's why I've pointed this out, even though I seriously doubt it'll actually reach the people it needs to...

Awesome!

That looks really cool, I wish I could check that out in person. Still hyped for this game, it's been a long bumpy road but it's finally here, Time to dust off the Wii U and get down on some MN9!
