ART BOOK & STRATEGY GUIDE

 

Jon: Hi again, Mighties! Reward manager Jon here, back with another glimpse into the rewards production process!

 

We’ve been working on all of the rewards in tandem, but probably the biggest challenge has been production of the art book/strategy guide. In terms of hours invested, materials needed and parties involved, it’s taken more effort to plan, prepare and execute than almost all of the other rewards combined!

 

 

As usual, the art teams on both comcept and Inti Creates sides have done an amazing job of pulling all of the assets together. Next it’s up to our friends at UDON to put the finishing touches on this bad boy!

 

 

Here’s a look at Art Director Komaki discussing the Mighty No. 5 stage strategy guide with me. Figuring out how to fit in all of the content we want has been the most challenging part, taking the combined efforts of comcept, Inti Creates, UDON and Fangamer to pull off. We hope you guys are looking forward to the result!

This was a great community day, especially since we got a preview on the artbook.

On that note, I made a topic awhile ago that lanched a project in which we, the community, come together to make collages (artwork made of various images) of fanart. If that sounds like anything were interested in, feel fre to check it out!

I've got my fair share of Udon artbooks, including the Megaman, X, and Zero Complete Artworks. Knowing that Udon was partnered to bring us a Mighty No. 9 book was the deciding factor in which tier I pledged. I knew that it being Udon meant it wouldn't just be a cheap extra, but something I'd proudly display on my shelf. Aside from the game itself, it's the thing I'm looking forward to the most from the Mighty No. 9 project.
