Mini-Update: Official Platform Selection Surveys are GO!! (For real this time)

Important news, Mighties!

 

We’ve been quiet about the platform selection surveys while we sort out the technical difficulties, sowing the seeds of confusion among many of our backers. We’re very sorry for the unexpected inconvenience, and we’re happy to say that the surveys are ready to go!

 

Here is some updated information on the surveys:

 

1) The Official Platform Selection Surveys are being sent out via SurveyMonkey over the next 4 days or so.

 

2) The Official Platform Selection Surveys will be open until the new deadline, July 31st, 2015.

 

3) We will make available all current information we have regarding each platform version of Mighty No. 9, to be updated as more details are set in stone.

 

4) To accommodate any backers who may change platforms as time goes on--due to new console-specific information, console purchases, etc.--backers will be able to change their platform selection(s) up until the survey deadline.

 

If you have not received your survey by Saturday, July 4th, please contact us as mightyno9@comcept.jp, subject line “Mighty Platform Selection Survey”.

The system requirements for MacOS and Linux have not been confirmed yet.  As for Windows, you need:
  • Win7 64bit
  • Intel Core2Quad OR AMD Phenom X4 @2.8ghz
  • 4GB RAM
  • Radeon HD 7770 OR Nvidia GeForce GTX 550 Ti
  • 2GB HDD
Reccomended specs are a bit higher.

Reiterating comments I see below because they're kinda important.

First, what about those of us that did the Steam beta and already apparently have Mighty No 9 in our libraries? Do we already technically own a Steam copy of the game or should we select the "Steam" option in the survey to ensure we continue to have a full functioning PC copy?

Second, what about the Humble Bundle page I have that doesn't yet have any keys? Is that related to the additional copy I pledged or the beta? Will keys magically appear there, or again should I select the "Steam" version in the survey?

Thirdly, and I think this actually would tie together with the two above, what about those of us that wanted both PS4+Steam (or any two platforms). What's the best way to ensure that come September I can play the game on the PS4 and on my PC as I pledged???

Hi, I'd really like to understand why Sony users have the cross-buy option but Nintendo users don't? 3DS and WiiU have cross-buy. Why is this option not available?!?

Thats something Sony does for some of their games.  Like Sly 4 came out for PS3, but you could also download a free copy for the vita with the purchase of the PS3 version.  Nintendo doesnt have a program like that unfortunately.  It's not Mighty No. 9, its Nintendo.

I pledged $41, and selected the $5 reward tier as instructed after selecting the USB reward back in 2014. I don't see the USB as an option. What am I supposed to choose? They don't make this abundantly clear.

I would have chosen an xbox one/windows 10 if there was a cross play option similar to how you do for ps4ps3vita etc. I opted for pc drm free.

Additional "physical" copies (USB and CDs) ara Steam only. You can't select a platform for them.

I actually pledged for two copies of the game but the survey does not reflect that. Where are my options for the usb drive copy and my second copy? Survey is incomplete. Doesn't even have the t-shirt options either.
